Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda

Life is action. All living beings act incessantly, ceasing their activities only when the prana leaves their bodies. The Sanskrit word for action is karma, and according to the Law of Karma, which is expressed by Newton's Third Law in terms that apply in all dimensions of existence, each action generates a reaction, usually equal and opposite.

Jyotisha emerged in India as a Vedanga, an "arm" or branch of the Vedic System that brought insights to the sacrificers about the nature of the spaces above us, which they divided into lunar constellations, called nakshatras.

Studying the way, the attributes of those divisions of space, and the motions of the sun and moon within those spaces reflected in earthly experiences, the Vedic Astrologer In Canada were able to advantageously select the times and locations according to the purposes of their rituals.

In addition to the classical nakshatras, the Vedic Astrologer in Downtown recognizes rashis (stellar constellations) and bhavas (astrological houses), and carefully considers the positions of nine grahas. This group of "Nine Agarradores" (the word graha literally means "catcher") consists of five visible planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn), the two luminaries (Sun and Moon) , and Rahu and Ketu, the so-called north and south nodes of the moon (the points where the Earth's orbit around the sun intercepts the moon's orbit around the earth).

Each graha is a devata (deity) that when activated holds us in its claws and induces us to exhibit some of its characteristics.

Like vaidya offering Ayurvedic treatment, Vedic Astrologer in Toronto can give recommendations for upayas, or specific remedies that can be performed to pacify a graha with problematic (and therefore karmic) configurations.

In fact, Ayurveda and Jyotisha (which are two branches of the Indian Sankhya philosophy) have historically been used together by Vedic Astrology in Toronto to help overcome health problems, to a point when Jyotisha came to be seen as "superstition" rather than a model of reality and human experience not limited to the material world.

Vedic Horoscope Toronto hope that this conference will be a first step in the journey to bring Jyotisha back to its proper place alongside Ayurveda for the benefit of all sentient beings.
